Official Gate (Gate.io) Telegram groups and channels
Gate (formerly Gate.io) splits its Telegram presence across a lot of handles: a main community, an international English group, a news channel, separate futures and API groups, a group for its Perp DEX, and regional communities for Africa and South Asia. This page lists the official ones so you can tell them apart from the copies.
Gate support never starts a conversation in DMs and never asks for your password or 2FA code.

Checking that a channel is really official
Open the project or exchange website, find its Telegram link there, and compare the username letter by letter with the one you joined. Lookalike handles swap an l for an I or add an underscore.
Real admins never message you first. Anyone who DMs you offering support, a refund or a "migration" is running a scam, whatever their profile picture says.
